I find it pretty amazing how far off these things end up from the initial vision. I always kind of like the end product, but just once I'd like to make what I set out to. So basically, she's supposed to be flying in a tight circle in a little toy box. That's her thing. Plus, she's dreaming.

Hya!

This is really good! The concept of floating around a toy box sounds fun:D:D

I do have a few suggestions though, if you'll have them...

-First, the contrast. Overall the image has a very high contrast - everything is brightly coloured and the lighting is truly unique. You don't normally see manips with lighting from below... However because everything is in such high contrast its hard to know what to look at first - your eye races around the image taking it all in and often gets lost in the details. So, my suggestion is to try too make the less-important parts of the image contrast a little less - try adjusting the Brightness/Contrast, as well as the Saturation (carefully).

-Second, be careful when cropping to try to remove as much of the former backgrounds as possible - not doing so often leaves 'residue' on the final image which is often distracting and can break teh reality of your scene. The horse, the woman and the glass balls seem to have white edges around them that are a little distracting. To remove these, try using the eraser or Smudge tool to clean up the edges a little.

-Lastly, something to remember. Brightly coloured objects (well, ALL objects, but brightly coloured ones in particular) usually reflect a small amount of light onto stuff around them. In this case, try using the paintbrush at a very low opacity/transparency to add highlights around the horse and the woman. For the woman, try to add a faint green tone the bright area underneath her and some blue under her arm and on her waist (from the blue ball). For the horse, try to add some red to the left side of its body (from the red ball).

I apologize if I sounded harsh or offending in my critique it was certainly not my intention ^^;

Good luck in the Challenge!
