The Not-So-Sweet Smell of Failure

This was a 4 panel comic collab. MS Paint still, back then. I used paper to sketch in blue. I scanned it, then took it to MS Paint for the lineart (if I didn't do it in pen already). Then I took it to PSP9 to fade the blue sketches... make it just black and white. Take it back to MS paint to color. Then I used Firestone Image Viewer to convert it to gif and maybe do a few other things to it. Did things the hard way back then. But anywho, this was fun and funny. Collabed with CV. This was part of an elaborate April Fools joke to get Neopians thinking we had a Faerie Wars plot going on when there wasn't one. Funny stuff. I had maybe 70 emails about it. Hehe. Peeps thought the panel outlines were stupid. Proportions not that great. The mermaid should have had an open mouth. Everyone loved the sneaky stance which I got from a pic of Homer Simpson. What else... Oh yeah, some more pics helped with the stances. [link] helped me do a peek around the wall correctly. [link] helped with drawing Well's stance.
